    Ali Bader is a novelist, playwright, poet, screenwriter, critic, and cultural editor. Born in Baghdad and now based in Brussels, he has published more than twenty novels, four poetry collections, and ten works of literary and cultural criticism, alongside plays and screenplays staged in major European theatres. His books, translated into over twenty languages, are celebrated for their psychological depth and philosophical reach, establishing him as one of the most prominent voices in contemporary Arabic literature.

    Bader is the Editor-in-Chief of Eurolitkrant, a journal dedicated to European literature, which he directs from Brussels as a platform for global dialogue between Arab and Western traditions. He is also the Director of Dar Al-Mada, the largest Arab publishing house, and the founder of two influential cultural imprints, Dar Al-Ka and Dar Al-Mufakkir, confirming his role as a leading figure in Arab cultural and publishing life.
