Ali Bader
Ali Bader is a poet, novelist, critic, script writer, poetry translator, and journalist, based in Brussels, where he studied Philosophy and French Literature. He has written sixteen novels so far, four poetry collections, several works of non-fiction, scripts and plays. Some of his works have been translated into 15 languages, and some of them have won numerous awards. He has worked as a war correspondent covering the Middle East. His best-known novels include “Papa Sartre”, “The Tobacco Keeper”, “Running after the Wolves”, and “The Sinful Woman”, many of which have won awards. Some elements in his novels are character study, social criticism, philosophical reflection, and explicit language. He has written about art, politics and philosophy for many newspapers and magazines.
